Hi, I’m the founder of AgooAgoo and, more importantly, a mother.

My journey began in front of a cold monitor, spending over a decade as an animation and VFX designer. After giving birth, I faced the daunting wall of a career break. What pulled me through was a simple yet powerful desire: to show my child the world’s first sights in the most beautiful and safest way possible.

I found my answer right here in Euljiro, Seoul, where I live. Once the heart of South Korea’s manufacturing industry, Euljiro may have lost some of its former luster over time. Yet, hidden within its narrow alleys, master craftsmen who have quietly protected their trade for decades are still breathing life into their work.

AgooAgoo creates thoughtful essentials for our children, starting with our very first step: the High-Contrast Tummy Time Board Book. To offer a warmth that mass-produced goods simply cannot replicate, I personally sought out these local artisans in and around Euljiro, developing and crafting our products through their dedicated hands. The result is a board book featuring high-contrast black-and-white illustrations, specifically designed to be gentle and engaging for a baby’s developing vision.

Beginning with this Tummy Time Board, we are continuing to design a wide range of childcare essentials tailored to a child’s growth. We may move slowly, but we are committed to creating products of world-class value—born from the seasoned touch of a master craftsman and the meticulous gaze of a mother, right here in Euljiro.
